How to Buy

In Gallery Bidding

To bid in person, you will need to register for and collect a numbered paddle before the auction begins. Please remember to bring government-issued proof of identity, such as a driving license or passport, with you. If you are a first-time bidder, you will also be asked for a Visa or Mastercard at the registration process.

Absentee Bidding

If you are unable to attend the auction in person, we will be happy to execute written bids on your behalf. Please use our proxy bid form and complete the contact information as well as the lot description, lot number, and maximum bid for each item in one of the form fields. You may submit multiple forms for as many bids as you would like to place. Please see our conditions of sale for more information about bidding increments. Successful absentee bidders will receive an invoice after the auction with complete transaction details.

Telephone Bidding

You may also use the proxy bid form to register for telephone bidding. Please follow the same instructions as absentee bidding except replace the maximum bid price in the designated form field with the word "phone".

Internet Bidding

Bid online at www.ebayliveauctions.com or www.liveauctioneers.com. Online bidders need to register with Ebay to participate in our auctions. Past auction results can be reviewed on our website.

Buyer's Premium and Additional Fees

A 15% buyers premium exists on all sales except internet bids which include a 20% premium. Additional shipping, handling, and insurance fees apply upon successful bidding. For the residents of the State of Ohio, apply 7.75% sales tax.

Payment

Please provide us your credit card number by phone or fax along with the following details to complete your transaction.

  • Three digit security code from the back of the card
  • Billing address
  • Expiration date

Pickup and Delivery

Upon payment, you may pick up your purchases at the gallery or arrange to have them shipped. We provide shipping services in-house, but also work with 3rd party shipping companies if appropriate.
